Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What will a typical session of my newborn be like?
A: A typical session with a newborn takes place in your home, where mother and baby are sure to be most comfortable. When I come to your home, I will bring all neccessary props and tools to get baby positioned. It's best to have baby fed, clean, and ready for a nap before the session - we want that baby to sleep as much as possible!

Q: I will be in a portrait with my newborn. How should I dress?
A: I generally prefer parents to dress in LONG SLEEVE black shirts for their portraits with their children. Occassionaly I may ask you to change, but black long sleeves helps keep focus on faces, and most of all, BABY!

Q: I am expecting a baby. How do I schedule a session with you when I don't know exactly when the baby will come?
A: When you are expecting, call me with your due date. That puts you on my calendar in the general area of time. Then, when baby comes, call me as soon as possible, and I will schedule you for as soon as you and baby are ready.
